Jody Bader will coordinate the training team for the study. Ms. Bader has trained more than 1,000 teachers across 20 districts, primarily in Washington state. Ms. Bader has a Washington state teaching certificate with an ESL endorsement, a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and is a Tier IV OCDE Project GLAD® consultant. Ms. Bader taught in a culturally and socioeconomically diverse public school and worked as an ESL trainer for the Edmonds School District. In 2007, she became certified as a Key Consultant for Project GLAD and is currently an independent instructional consultant.

Erick Herrmann began learning about and implementing Project GLAD strategies in 1996 as a high school teacher. At first cautious about implementing Project GLAD at the high school level, he quickly realized that the strategies helped build student academic success as they learned content and language. Mr. Herrmann worked towards becoming a Project GLAD Key Consultant, and notes that Project GLAD transformed how he taught students, from elementary through adult. Mr. Herrmann taught at the high school level for seven years, the elementary level for three years, and has worked as a teacher trainer, instructional coach, college adjunct professor and independent consultant for the past eight years. He brings expertise as a consultant in Project GLAD and the SIOP Model, as well as a coach for teachers and schools in the areas of literacy and Response to Intervention (RTI).

Jennifer Koons has experience working with English learners in a variety of programs including Native Language, Structured English Immersion, English Language Mainstream and Dual Immersion. As her passion for Project GLAD in the classroom grew, Ms. Koons became a consultant for the Project GLAD National Training Center. She has trained many educators nationally and internationally. Ms. Koons currently works as a Teacher on Special Assignment for English Language Development and Specially Designed Academic Instruction in English to support middle school and high school teachers in Orange Unified School District, California. With over 10 years experience teaching with the Project GLAD model, Ms. Koons will serve as a consultant and trainer for the Idaho study.

Susan McCoy is currently a Coordinator for the Project GLAD National Training Center, based at the Orange County Department of Education, California. Ms. McCoy currently trains Tier I participants, Tier II Trainers In-Training, Tier III Trainers, Tier IV Trainers, and certifies Trainers to become Project GLAD Tier III Agency Trainers, from states across the nation. Ms. McCoy has a California state teaching credential and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis in Computer Technology. She has more than 17 years of teaching experience working with diverse students and implementing Project GLAD strategies.
